Enjoy decades of Broadway with well-loved songs performed in a concert-style show. You’ll hear popular classics and some newer selections that will give you just a taste of each show, and you might even find some new favorites! We’ll also kick off the holidays with our second act featuring a variety of Christmas songs you know and love. It’ll be a little Broadway, a dash of Christmas, and a whole lot of fun for all ages with this Broadway-quality show.

If you’d like to perform with us in our theatrical concert-style event of “A Little Off-Broadway: A Musical Revue with a Dash of Christmas”, auditions are open to anyone in the community ages 8 and up!

If you’re an actor/vocalist (age 8+), you can be considered for any role as a soloist and/or ensemble in “A Little Off-Broadway: A Musical Revue with a Dash of Christmas”. Here’s how:

  1. Choose a Broadway song from any musical that shows your vocal range.

  2. Film yourself singing. Please limit your video submission to 60 seconds of your chosen Broadway song (a cell phone works great!)

  3. Upload your video to YouTube

  4. Take a picture of yourself as a headshot (a cell phone pic is good).

  5. Fill out the online audition form (you will submit your headshot, video, and information all at the link below):

    Deadline: All audition submissions are due by Monday, August 31

Audition Form

Anyone cast in the show will be working with children, so all cast & crew ages 18+ will need to submit volunteer background checks. The PA Child Abuse Clearance & PA Criminal Background Check are free (except for the FBI Fingerprint Clearance, which is only required if you have lived outside of PA in the last 10 years). These clearances are online and easy to do.

After viewing all auditions, performers selected to participate will be assigned songs from our show set list, decided by the directors, after which the finalized set list will be given to the cast.

REHEARSALS

Rehearsals will start in mid-October, and are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with a few Saturday morning and afternoon times. Most rehearsals will be held at The Narrow Way Church, and then switch to the show venue at Crossroads Nazarene Church (in Milton) closer to the performance dates. All rehearsals the week before the show (October 26-31) are mandatory, so please make sure you will be available.

  • Saturday, October 10: 9:00am-1:00pm (Welcome/Music Rehearsal)
    (1:30-3:30pm available for work with soloists/small groups as needed)

  • Tuesday, October 20: 6:30-9:00pm

  • Thursday, October 22: 6:30-9:00pm

  • Saturday, October 24: 9:00am-1:00pm

  • Tuesday, October 27: 6:30-9:00pm

  • Thursday, October 29: 6:30-9:00pm

  • Saturday, October 31: 9:00am-1:00pm

  • Tuesday, November 3: 6:30-10:00pm

  • Wednesday, November 4: 6:30-10:00pm

SHOW WEEK

The performances are Thursday & Friday, November 5-6 at 7:00pm, & Saturday, November 7 at 2:00pm at Crossroads Nazarene Church in Milton. Please make sure you are available the whole week of November 3-7 for ALL tech & dress rehearsals (Tuesday & Wednesday evenings), performances (Thursday-Saturday), and set strike (Saturday evening).
